Love the Man, Not This Show
Liberation's opening act suffered from being too short, a common theme that half of the reviewer's show complain about. The entire show ended at 9:07pm, starting 15 min late at 7:45. Liberation began by bragging that he would give such a good show that he would need an encore. And, as he promised, at the end of the show, the house lights came on and no one even tried to get him to come back. Instead, everyone just bolted for the door, somewhat telling itself. The volume wasn't a problem with his act; Liberation was loud. At these ticket prices, I would not recommend this show to a friend. Finally, while 2/3 of Liberation's material was absolutely hilarious, 1/3 of his performance was spent talking about his kids. That material should have been saved for entertaining his in-laws at the Thanksgiving table. Stick with what you do best Liberation: the food jokes, the airport jokes, and the people at the mall. These were the topics that the audience really laughed hardest at.
